Drift errors on multiple datasets
We are currently scanning some big facilities. Accuracy isnt the most important things for that project so we are not using GCPs for registration.
Usually post processing works well as long as you loop enough. But on some buildings it just isnt working.
One of them even was scanned twice with even more attention to loops in the second run and still a big drift occurs after processing while its fine on the rec map.
Is there any solution to solve this or to optimize corrupted datasets?
I mean, its really anoying to drive off the site and you dont know if the data is allright or not. Measuring GCPs isnt a real solution as it destroys most of the speed advantage the NavVis offers.
