Time to sharpen your NavVis skills!

With COVID-19 spreading around the world, you’ve probably had to put work projects and business meetings on hold. We suggest that you use this time to help strengthen and recharge the technical knowledge of yourself and your team. That way you will emerge in a stronger position at the other end of this crisis.

Data Processing 

• NavVis M6 User Guide – Read through the data processing cheatsheet, an easy to read step-by-step summary about how to process data and set up an IndoorViewer instance. 
• Point Clouds – This documentation provides the technical background about point clouds. Pay special attention to high-resolution point clouds, raw point clouds, and dynamic object filtering.  
• Tools and Scripts – Find here the main tools in the NavVis Mapping Software Suite. Each page has a list of the tool’s options and gives some examples of how they are used.  
• Data Processing Documentation – Read this to learn how to process your data using SiteMaker. Study the quality assurance process and it’s corresponding action items.  

IndoorViewer Basics 

• IndoorViewer Documentation – Learn how to make use of IndoorViewer features, including Point of Interests, how to import external point clouds, and how to extract or reconstruct panoramas from E57 point clouds.
